It is very rare to come across a doll in such wonderful original condition.

She has striking fixed blue glass paper-weight eyes, her open mouth reveals six tiny teeth.

Her pressed bisque head is very fine quality and is perfect ( light tested ).

It is impressed on the back with a star and the number 88. These dolls date from 1895.

Her blonde mohair wig is the original and is a bit bald at the front but still quite thick at the back. Her pate is the original. She is on her good French  body.

Her wonderful clothes are completely original, the dress is showing some fraying but is still good. Her shoes have letters impressed on the sole but difficult to read.
