This is a lovely large Kestner girl dating from 1900. Kestner did a series of antique girl dolls that  were marked with a letter of the alphabet  and she has the letter  L - 15 impressed on the back of her head.

Her large brown glass eyes open and close perfectly, all of the original eyelid wax is intact. Her open mouth reveals four original teeth. She has a perfect head, with quite a rosy colour to her cheeks. Her wig is real hair and although antique is not her original, she still has her plaster pate.

She is on a good strong quality body.

She is wearing a victorian whitework dress and bonnet.
