A lovely Simon and Halbig 1159 antique doll dating from 1895.

She has blue glass eyes which open and close perfectly all of the original eyelid wax is intact  Her open mouth reveals four original teeth. She has a perfect head ( light tested ) with good clear bisque. Her ears are pierced and she wears tiny turquoise drop earrings.

Her antique wig is mohair and was with her when I bought her.

She is on a  lady body with the shaped breast and slim waist , she also has Heinrich Handwerck stamped on her body. This is absolutely her correct body as this company made the bodies for Simon and Halbig for the 1159 mould , I have sold them before with the Heinrich Handwerck Stamp on the body. The body is in lovely condition. I can send Pictures.

She is wearing a white cotton and lace dress with vintage underwear and vintage hat. Her shoes look like her originals. She has a delicate necklace to match her earrings A superb doll which does not turn up that often.
