This is an absolutely stunning doll in lovely condition and dates from 1889.

She has large fixed blue paper-weight  glass eyes, a delicately painted closed mouth, she has applied ears and they are pierced  with turquoise drop earrings. She has a perfect head ( light tested ) and it is impressed on the back - Depose Tete Jumeau. 13. She is on her good early heavy Jumeau body which is in lovely conditionand  and has the blue Bebe Jumeau stamp on her back.

Her blonde mohair wig is old and she has her original cork pate.

She is wearing a burgundy pure silk dress jacket and bonnet.

A wonderful addition to a collection.
