This is a very unusual doll, she is impressed on the back of her head with the initials SP

The only details I can find is that she was made by Sonneberg Porzellanfabrik in Germany and dates around 1910. I have never seen this marking on a doll before.

She has a very lovely look to her with large glass brown eyes that open and close perfectly, she also retains a lot of her original real hair eyelashes. Her open mouth reveals four original teeth. She has a perfect head. She is on her good quality German body with the extra ball joints at the shoulders and the red Excelsior Germany stamp on the back, it retains all the original paint and sheen. Her clothes are exactly how I bought her, a lace dress and bonnet, vintage underwear and lovely brown leather German style shoes.
