This is a doll with a stunning face, she dates from 1890.

She has fixed brown glass eyes, top and lower painted eyelashes, pale multi stroke eyebrows.  Her bisque head and shoulders are perfect, there is nothing impressed anywhere, not even a size number. She has a plaster pate and a blonde mohair wig which leads me to believe she is an early Kestner.

Her lower arms are bisque and they are perfect with no chips.

She is on a kid leather body which has had a few repairs over the years, however it is still a good solid body. ( I can send pictures )

She is wearing a pale blue cotton dress and matching petticoat. Blue cotton bonnet. This is exactly how I bought her and the clothes look to have been with her a long time
