This is a very beautiful Hilda doll with the most expressive face, She dates from 1914

Her blue glass eyes open and close perfectly all of the original eyelid wax is intact. Her open mouth reveals two original upper teeth.

Her moulded head is perfect with lovely hair strokes and she has a good clear bisque. Her head is  iimpressed on the back - HILDA - 1070 - JDK - 1914.

Her sturdy body is in good condition with all the original paint and sheen, her fingers and toes have the original red paint strokes. She has the good quality Kestner body with one hand turning in and the other turning out. She is wearing a very ornate victorian baby gown with matching full lenght petticoat.

A wonderful doll all ready for display.
