This is a very beautiful Early Barrois fashion doll dating from 1860.

She is on a perfect unmarked bisque shoulder head, there is no damage or restorations.

She has a lovely pale bisque with fixed blue glass eyes. delicately painted closed mouth and feathered eyebrows. Her ears are pierced and she has tiny metal hoop earrings. I think her wig could be sheepskin. Her leather body is in good condition ( I can send pictures ). All her fingers are good. She is wearing a very ornate outfit which looks to have been with her a long time, pale pink skirt with 3/4 coat , both completely lined and hand stitched, frill decoration at the hem and lace around the shoulders and down the edges of the coat.Her matching hat has feathers at the back and she has lace attached to the back of her hair. She is wearing what looks like her original underwear, three petticoats and pantaloons. Her socks and shoes look like her originals. She is a wonderful doll.
