This Simon & Halbig 540 is a hard mould number to find as it does not turn up that often and has quite a different look from most S&H dolls.They started to produce this number from 1890.

She has large blue eyes which open and close perfectly, her open mouth reveals four teeth.

She has a perfect head with good clear bisque and is clearly impressed S&H 540.

She is on her good body with all the fingers and toes intact and the original paint and sheen.

Her blonde wig is mohair.

She is wearing a cream faux silk dress with vintage woollen cape and bonnet.
