This is a very cute Hilda doll. She dates from 1914

Her blue glass eyes open and close perfectly. Her open mouth reveals two teeth.

Her head is perfect with good clear bisque and is impressed on the back - HILDA - 245 - JDK - 1914. She still has her plaster pate and her lovely original blonde wig.

Her body is in good condition with all the original paint and sheen, her fingers and toes have the original red paint strokes, she does have a bit of fading on her lower legs.  She has the good quality Kestner body with one hand turning in and the other turning out. Her lovely dress is antique and she has the matching full length petticoat and bonnet.

A lovely doll all ready for display.
